Supernatural ARG

FYI This game is only available to those in the UK. Which I'm kinda disappointed about.  Maybe I can start a petition to get Texas added as part of the UK.

LIVING goes Supernatural with alternate reality game – Fight the Apocalypse in the UK

In 2009, Emmy Award nominated US drama Supernatural found a new home in the UK – LIVING. To raise awareness for the UK premiere of series five starting early Feb, LIVING has launched one of the UK’s most complex alternate reality games (ARG) ever, which will offer one viewer the ultimate Supernatural prize – a chance to appear in the show.

Supernatural season four ended in suspense as Lucifer was freed from hell and on LIVING season five follows Sam and Dean Winchester as they face their toughest battle yet; the apocalypse. To promote the new series, LIVING has created the Fight the Apocalypse ARG, which calls on Supernatural fans to mobilise their armies and join the fight against Lucifer.

The ARG is based around collecting hidden symbols - ‘Enochian Sigils’ - which players must locate, photograph and send via MMS to a shortcode,. One of the first truly cross-platform campaigns of its type, the ARG utilises online, mobile, print and real world elements.

Enochian Sigils have been hidden online and at real world locations throughout the UK and clues to the Sigil locations will be delivered by Castiel (Misha Collins) in specially filmed sequences on the Fight the Apocalypse website ( Once located, Sigils are photographed on any mobile device and using Image recognition technology – which recognises any image taken on a mobile phone camera – are uploaded to the player’s profile.

In the ARG players have two ways of making it to the top: locating and photographing Enochian Sigils, and building an online army of support. Players can invite friends to join their army via email and through Facebook. On the website, Supernatural fans can create their own profile and contact friends to join their army, manage their game playing and collection of Enochian Sigils, as well as view other contestants’ profiles and join forces with other players. For fans who want to play on the move, all core game functions will be available on the mobile site.

Online media partners are collaborating in the game, with some sites creating their own bespoke mini challenges for gamers to find sigils. Twitter is the social hub for Fight the Apocalypse and will countdown to the start of the game, as well as announcing new clues, and creating a community around the game and the new series of Supernatural. Followers of the Fight the Apocalypse Twitter feed will be given tips and additional mini challenges to win extra prizes. Fans can follow the Fight the Apocalypse Twitter at

Fans can register and play the game now at and it runs until 3rd March 2010.

Supernatural in the UK. FINALLY!

Press release from Living

The ultimate battle between good and evil

The exclusive premiere of

Supernatural brand new to LIVING

TX: Wednesday 10th February at 9pm

The fifth series of hit US drama Supernatural will premiere exclusively in the UK on LIVING, the home of paranormal drama. Already boasting a loyal UK fan base, the highly anticipated series chronicles the adventures of demon hunters Sam and Dean Winchester as they journey through small town America in a bid to rid the world of demonic forces.

Twenty-six years ago, Sam (Jared Padalecki- Gilmore Girls, Friday the 13th) and Dean (Jensen Ackles - Smallville, My Bloody Valentine 3D) Winchester lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic paranormal force. From then on, their father raised them to be soldiers, teaching them about the numerous forms of evil that exists within the darkest corners and on the back roads of America. Their father also taught them how to kill the unearthly life forms. Now, the Winchester brothers crisscross the lonely and mysterious back roads of the country

in their '67 Chevy Impala hunting down every evil supernatural force they encounter along the way.

The forth season of the paranormal drama ended on a series defining high as Sam unwittingly opened the gates of hell and freed Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino – Lost). Now alongside his older brother Dean, the demon-hunting Winchester boys must face their toughest battle yet, the apocalypse.

Series five kicks off with an explosive double bill, as the brothers prepare for the inevitable; meeting the devilface to face. But at the very moment, Sam and Dean are suddenly transported onto an incredibly turbulent flight. Could this mysterious outcome be the work of angels?  Sam and Dean’s devil dodging may have given them more time to continue their ultimate fight, but, in order to send the definitive bad-boy back into the depths of hell, the Winchesters must find the sword of Michelangelo before Lucifer and his cohorts beat them to it.

In the second part of LIVING’s Supernatural double bill, God has gone missing and with Lucifer lapping up his new found freedom, it’s up to the fallen-angel Castiel (Misha Collins – 24, Nip Tuck) to search for the absent divinity.  In a small Colorado town, Sam and Dean witness a chilling reality, the arrival of the first horseman of the Apocalypse.

The ultimate battle between good and evil continues on Supernatural, a UK exclusive on LIVING.

To promote series five, LIVING has created Fight the Apocalypse, an AR game which calls on Supernatural fans to mobilise their armies and join the fight against Lucifer. The AR game is based around collecting hidden symbols – ‘Enochian Sigils’ (which players must locate, photograph and send via MMS to the campaign shortcode).

Fans can join up and take part in Fight The Apocalypse at, the game runs until 3rd March 2010. Twitter is the social hub for the game and fans can follow at

Guess the Episode and Quote of the Day!

Episode trivia-
The title of the episode references the 1966 movie It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. In the movie and the comic strip "Peanuts" the character Linus believed that on Halloween night, the Great Pumpkin rose out of the pumpkin patch he deemed the most "sincere". The Great Pumpkin then flew around and delivered toys to all the good little children in the world. Each year, Linus would wait in a suitably sincere pumpkin patch hoping to see the Greats pumpkin, who reputedly only appeared to those who believed in it.

Quote of the day-
Dean: Zombie-ghost orgy, huh? Well, that's it. I'm torching everybody.

Contest 2- Entries

Here it is! This took forever getting uploaded, and I'm sorry if it's not as pretty and formatted as it could be but I hate formatting and well, you didn't come to see that anyway.

Onto the entries! Remember please, use your common sense and courtesy. Don't steal the pictures and claim them as your own (not that I think any of you are douche-y enough to do that, but I gotta say it). Please leave lots of comments for these awesome entries and let us and the person that spent so much time and effort know what you think.
